POGEROLA CIRCUIT: a hiking trail of medium difficulty that starts from the main square of Pogerola, a hamlet of Amalfi, and passes through the typical vaulted houses of the hamlet of Pigellula and San Michele Arcangelo. The trail enters the heart of Amalfi’s chestnut groves at Tavernate, a place that is a guardian of ancient agricultural traditions. After a dip in the woods, the circuit continues past the Acquolella spring, reaching its highest point, and then continues down towards MADONNA DEI FUONDI: The church of Our Lady of Fuondi, dating back to the 1700s, is situated on a promontory behind the locality of “Gaudio.” The route to the church is pleasant, not complex and surrounded by nature.
VILLAGE HIGHWAYS: As early as the Middle Ages and until the second half of the last century, it represented the main road connecting the Amalfi’s urban center and the hamlets to the west, up to Agerola. The route cuts diagonally across the coast touching, Pastena, Lone, Vettica, Tovere and other localities
