56th edition of Underwater Christmas Conca dei Marini and Amalfi Coast

The SALERNO SUBACQUEO OPERATING GROUP, as it has for many years now, is again this year promoting this event of sports, tourism, culture and tradition of our Province, enriched by Underwater and Outdoor Photo competitions; all in the splendid settings of Conca dei Marini, the Emerald Grotto and the Amalfi Coast.

The logistical base to which the entire organization belongs is L’Hotel ” LA BUSSOLA in Amalfi.

MANIFESTATION PROGRAM:

1. Friday, December 6.

• 9:00 a.m. Registration and start of extemporaneous photography contest entitled: ” above and below the sea of the Amalfi Coast ” with a mix of land and underwater images.
• 9:00 am registration and start of extemporaneous photography contest (outdoor) entitled: ” Above…the sea of the Amalfi Coast “
• 4 p.m. award ceremony 1st elementary school drawing contest:“Christmas on the Amalfi Coast“

2. Saturday, December 7.

• 9 a.m. Photo delivery of the“Above and Below the Sea of the Amalfi Coast” contest at La Bussola Hotel.
• 9 a.m. Photo delivery of the contest“Above… the sea of the Amalfi Coast” at La Bussola hotel.
• 10 a.m. Visit to the Emerald Cave by the pupils of Conca dei Marini Primary School.
• 4 pm celebration of Holy Mass officiated by Brother Marcus Reichenbach on the forecourt facing the Emerald Grotto.
• 5 p.m. Start of the historic night underwater procession to the underwater crib inside the Grotto under the guidance of divers from GO Sub.
• 8:00 p.m. Closing evening with dinner followed by screening of contest images, awards ceremony, thanksgiving and greetings.
• 9:30 p.m. Award:“A Life for the Sea“
