It is said that if you are fortunate enough to do your dream job, then you will never work a single day in your life, and this is exactly the case for Michele, who is passionate about history, the area and art, and has managed to turn this into his profession.
Loving the land
Michele is a licensed guide who has been passing on his passions with great enthusiasm to all who take part in his tours since 2016.
Among his early experiences also comes collaboration with some tour operators for organized excursion services and tours for cruise ships arriving in Amalfi and Salerno.
His tours include not only the Amalfi Coast, but in general Pompeii, Paestum, Naples, Caserta and Capri. He has always chosen to do freelance work, including through his website, which becomes a great and important tool for his business, but what counts a lot in this work is the “word of mouth,” that is, the stories of visitors who have had the pleasure of living a tourist experience with Michele and who with joy and involvement tell their loved ones about it.
Sea and land
American, Japanese, British, large groups or individual tours, boat tours along the Coast or discovering hidden places in the area, in short, Michele’s tours include just about everything.
“The goal…,” Michele says, “is to offer new things, to offer an unusual and emotional tour full of unforgettable experiences. Clients contact me again when they return to the Coast, so something new must always be offered…” Her tours also include Tours among the lemon groves and in the terraces, this is mainly to support small farming activities through her work.
In ’94 he began to elaborate tourist-cultural routes published by the Center for Amalfi History and Culture, with the tourist guide “Amalfi the famous city, the city to be discovered” – edited by Olimpia Gargano – EIDOS Publisher. Inside among the eight itineraries we like to mention the “Via Maestra dei Villaggi.” In short, coming to Amalfi and not experiencing a tour with Michele is equivalent to not experiencing your vacation 100%.
