Fore Porta Farm, located in the green lung of the Ferriere Valley, is a family-run organic agritourism business. The farmhouse was carved out of an old 13th-century ruin and still retains the rural architecture of the time.
The company specializes mainly in the cultivation of Sfusato Amalfitano IGP, an activity it inherited from its grandfather, and in the sale and tasting of Km 0 products grown without the use of pesticides, among which lemon granita, limoncello, jams, liqueurs and delicious homemade cakes stand out. Fore Porta also engages in beekeeping, whose business produces a fine honey that has the scent and flavor of the Amalfi Coast.
Visitors will have the unmissable opportunity to experience an everyday life in close contact with nature and the warm welcome of Silvia and Gerardo, who will accompany their guests on their journey into zero-mile taste. The Fore Porta farmhouse offers a daily menu that includes traditional dishes prepared by Mama Mena with fresh, organic produce from the garden characterized by simple, wholesome flavors.
The agriturimo also has a double room with the possibility of a third extra bed and equipped with a private bathroom with shower, TV, Wi-fi and a small terrace surrounded by the greenery and tranquility of the Ferriere Valley. The sweet awakening will be accompanied by a rich breakfast with homemade cakes and cookies, fresh seasonal fruit and jams prepared from the garden’s produce, served on the balcony of the room or in the farm’s medieval hall. The sruttura also offers half-board service to continue the culinary journey of discovering typical dishes prepared with passion and respect for the seasonality of products.
At the Fore Porta farm, it will also be possible to take part in fun cooking classes and enjoyable walks through the gardens of their farm.
Given the size and type of the business, which is family-run, reservations are appreciated to ensure friendly and timely service.
