Amalfi Christmas- The events in town

Soon the magic of Christmas will return to Amalfi.

What to expect. Spectacular lights, fantastic animations, traditional music, traditional sweets and wonderful nativity scenes.

The town will be filled with joy and magic, a unique atmosphere to celebrate together until the long-awaited Amalfi Coast New Year’s Eve. Are you ready?

Below is a brief preview of the events planned in the city:

• THE CHRISTMAS VILLAGE- a magical fantasy world for the little ones, creative workshops, fantastic characters, music, dancing and lots of merriment.
• THE CHRISTMAS MARKET TAKES PLACE AT THE ANANTARA CONVENT OF AMALFI-The typical Christmas market in one of the city’s most charming locations is reconfirmed again this year. The ideal opportunity to enjoy the magic of the holidays by taking a stroll in search of the perfect gift.
• CREATIVE LABORATORY AT THE PAPER MUSEUM- Let’s write a letter to Santa Claus together on the typical Amalfi Paper, a workshop dedicated to young children, which will give them the opportunity to have fun and learn about the origins of this incredible material.
• ART AND MUSIC: EXHIBITIONS, CONCERTS IN THE ARSENAL, REVIEW OF POLYPHONIC CHOIRS IN THE CATHEDRAL.
• AMALFI COAST NEW YEAR’S EVE: FIREWORKS DISPLAY, FOLK GROUPS, NEW YEAR’S CONCERT.
• TRADITION: BAGPIPES, FOLK GROUPS, THE VISIT TO NATIVITY SCENES, CULINARY TRADITIONS, THE PARADE OF SHEPHERDS.
