Koi no Yokan: the “premonition of love” overlooking the Amalfi Sea

“Koi no Yokan” in Japanese literally translates to, “premonition of love. It indicates the feeling that one between two people may have at their first meeting ending up, inevitably, falling in love…”

From our love a new life

With this introduction we tell you about the wonderful new work on temporary display in Amalfi, specifically on the Corso delle Repubbliche Marinare.

The work, entitled “From our love a new life” is by artist Andrea Roggi, a Tuscan with many interests, including painting and poetry, as well as, of course, sculpture. Passions that he has cultivated and matured over the years, combining in his works techniques of traditional workmanship in modern and innovative representations.

“It is almost an emotion that is exposed to the deepest state of consciousness; it is the awareness, the certainty that that person met by chance is ‘the one’: the soul mate of one’s destiny. A vague but profound hunch that will only confirm this initial certainty with time…”

A passion made work

“Do not be confused with love at first sight: the expression Koi no Yokan can be experienced even without harboring a deep feeling, for it is like an omen that has no concrete evidence…”

A contemporary artist with a deep soul who conveys through his works his vision of love and life.
