Duoglio beach, in the village of Lone, is just 1.5 kilometres from the town centre. It is perfect for those who want to spend a relaxing and fun-filled day.
After walking down about 400 steps, along a path surrounded by nature, you will reach an area bathed by crystal-clear water, with pebbles and reef. From here, you can take a boat trip to beautiful bays that can only be reached by sea.
In medieval times there was a fortified area on the high point to the east of the beach, which reports show there was an ancient watch tower and a chapel dedicated to Santa Caterina, which still stood in 1871. The estate was owned by the Casabona family in 1742.
